Coats and eye color are highly variable and, it is not uncommon to have a Mini Aussie with one blue eye or one that is half blue and half brown. Mini Aussies have strong herding and sheep guarding instincts. Mini Aussies are recognized performers in areas such as search and rescue. Dependable and tireless workers, Mini Aussies are devoted to their owners. Though somewhat shy in initial meetings, Mini Aussies are not aggressive. Intelligent, attentive and animated dogs who are strong and well coordinated with great stamina, Mini Aussies can make great family pets.
