Coat: Is either flat or wavy. Can be orange and white, liver and white, tricolored, or black.
Character: This dog is athletic, intelligent, quick and curious.
Temperament: This dog gets along well with children and any household pets.
Care: Regular grooming with a brush is required.
Training: The intelligence of this breed makes training fairly easy.
Activity: The Brittany requires an hour or more of good exercise every day. It is not sufficient to take it for walks. This makes it unsuitable for apartment life. It is happiest living where it can run freely and taking part in field sports.
Description : Brittanys are of medium size and leggy in appearance. Brittanys are strong, active and energetic with quick movements. They may be tail-less or have their tails docked to approximately four inches. A favorite breed of hunters, their keen sense of smell makes them excellent pointing bird dogs. Socialized early, they make great family pets and are child friendly.
