Character: This dog is high-spirited, cheerful and clever. It is independent, sociable, and active.
Temperament: This breed gets along equally well with children, other household pets and even strangers.
Care: This breed requires a great deal of grooming. Its hair must be brushed and combed at least twice a week and parted along the back.
Training: Bearded Collies learn quickly and respond to a kind approach.
Activity: This dog does not require lots of exercise, but it would prefer to be taken on long walks in the country.
Description : Bearded Collies make excellent family dogs as they are playful, happy and agile with their tails constantly wagging. They are strong working dogs and like to be very active, so owners need to keep them busy. They quite intelligent, are not shy, yet not agressive. Their natural instincts of guarding the flock transfer to guarding their owners.
